DRIVER HITS TREE IN MERRILL, ARRESTED FOR OWI

MERRILL – On Monday March 3^rd at 7:27pm, the Merrill Police Department received a call that a driver had crashed into a tree and it was possible that he was intoxicated. The officer who came to the scene observed characteristics indicative of intoxication, and the driver agreed to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests the driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
